Helpdesk Analyst - Winchester Office
Responsibilities
Deliver first line, pre and post-sales technical support on our range of enterprise solutions to our corporate customer base. The solutions are mainly comprised of communications, imaging, document management and workflow software, with some related hardware.
Key Tasks
- Advise on the installation, configuration and administration of the supported software and hardware
- Log customer incidents, including an assessment of the incident severity
- Troubleshoot customer issues, escalating incidents as required
- Maintain an understanding of customer Service Level Agreements to ensure resolution within defined timescales
- Offer advice on which solutions are available to compliment a customer's existing system

Accounts Payable Solution Sales Consultant
Avanquest Accounts Payable Plus (AP+) is a fully automated end-to-end solution for the Accounts Payable department. The solution employs leading edge software to produce a real time, rules based, supplier invoice processing system which could save an organisation upwards of 75% of their current costs. In addition Avanquest AP+ will provide data integrity, real time reporting, right place right time approval and many other efficiency gains that will reflect throughout any business
Main objectives:
- Achieve annual sales revenue targets for new Software, new AMP (Annual Maintenance Program) and Professional services relating to Accounts Payable Solution sales.
- Develop new business from leads provided from external and internal sources. Both new customers and existing Avanquest accounts (in conjunction with Account Managers) by leveraging existing implementation success stories in the AP market.
- As a result of market understanding/intelligence actively identify and develop opportunities for sales of the Avanquest AP+ software solutions suite and professional services.
Sub objectives:
- Continuously develop sales understanding of the full Avanquest AP+ Product range with a particular focus on Intelligent Capture, Document Management & Workflow software.
- Maintain a technical understanding of the systems that Avanquest AP+ solutions are reliant upon (Microsoft Operating Systems), or integrates with (Line of Business Systems, Accounts/ERP, MOSS, Microsoft Exchange, Outlook..)
- Nurture successful relationships with any Partners (lead generation or supplier) you may be given responsibility for in order to successfully achieve you main objectives.
- Recognise your own capabilities and those within your team and request/and provide assistance around any opportunity that is required.
- Work with the Sales Administrator to ensure all customer/opportunity/solution information is captured and reported.
- Provide feedback to Line Manager to aid sales development in line with customer/market needs and opportunities.
- Utilise the skills of the team (sales/technical) to maximise sales opportunities
- Provide line manager with metrics that enable the business to be monitored effectively.
- Use the company’s CRM application to log and manage sales opportunities and contact with prospect, customers and partners

- Consciously maintaining a balance of all areas of responsibility
Document Management Solutions Account Managers
Two positions, one more senior than the other. Both with excellent career and earnings prospects.
Main objectives:
- Achieve annual sales revenue targets for new software, AMP (Annual Maintenance Program) and Professional Services
- Develop new business within existing Avanquest accounts and Partner Accounts by leveraging existing success stories
- As a result of market understanding/intelligence actively identify and develop opportunities for sales of the Avanquest Document Management software suite and professional services.
Sub objectives:
- Continuously develop sales understanding of the Avanquest Document Management suite with a focus on the Captaris product range
- Maintain a technical understanding of the systems that Captaris EDM is reliant upon (Microsoft Operating Systems), or interacts with (MOSS, Microsoft Exchange, Outlook.)
- Recognise your own capabilities and request the assistance of senior members of the team when support is required for Solutions type sales.
- Actively identify new and develop existing Alchemy bureau and referral partners.
- Work with the AMP Sales Administrator to ensure all AMP renewals are communicated and sold.
- Liaise with the Sales Administrator to actively provide knowledge and assistance to all existing customers and referral partners
- Utilise the skills of the team to maximise sales opportunities
- Provide line manager with metrics that enable the business to be monitored effectively.
Responsible for:
- Sales target as agreed with line manager
- New channel acquisition and development
- Customer satisfaction
- Consciously maintaining a balance of all areas of responsibility
